Brief Description | The Little Forest Burial Ground (LFBG) is located south of Sydney, where 79 trenches were used for waste disposal from 1960 to 1968. Groundwater (starting from 1975) were collected and analysed for tritium. |
Surrounding sites which include disposal of liquid chemical waste, solid human waste and municipal landfill are also known to contribute tritium to groundwater in the vicinity of the LFBG site. | |
